Saturday was a long day for Warhawks, falling to Bellevue 14-5.

In the first inning, Warhawks got their offense started when David Hoffert singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Bellevue pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second an error scored one run for Bellevue.

Bellevue scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Bellevue came thanks to singles by #03 and #22, a home run by #1, a fielder’s choice by #23, and an error on a ball put in play by #28.

Landon Hohler was on the pitcher’s mound for Warhawks. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out nine. Caleb S threw two innings out of the bullpen.

David went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Warhawks in hits.

Bellevue scattered ten hits in the game. #03 and #12 each managed multiple hits for Bellevue. #10 led Bellevue with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 12 stolen bases.
